Staff Therapist/Mediator/Employability Coach

 
Cessi Sutter is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- Associate and a bi-lingual Staff Therapist, Mediator and Employability Coach at Innovative Alternatives, Inc. Cessi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Miami. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology in Education from Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Miami. She is a member of the American Psychological Association.

Cessi provides individual, group, marriage, and family therapy utilizing a variety of models and techniques in both English and Spanish. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, and immigration issues.

While Cessi works with all populations, she especially enjoys working with children and adolescents from diverse multi-cultural backgrounds. Her therapeutic orientation consists of cognitive, psychodynamic, client centered, and family systems therapy.

Cessi’s outside interests include yoga, tennis, and writing poetry.
