Denise is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her master’s degree in Counselor Education at TSU and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at HBU. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors practicing from a biblical perspective meeting her clients where they are in their spiritual walk, respecting the client’s individual spiritual journey. She provides individual, group, family and marriage counseling. Denise has a heart for families experiencing separation or divorce as well as the illness and or death of a family member. Denise believes her clients are responsible for their thoughts, choices, behaviors and actions, and her hope is to help her clients develop greater self-awareness and provide tools to better equip clients to not just survive, but thrive as they navigate through complex experiences of life.
