Contract Therapist

 
Harriet McCune is a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2006 and is a school counselor at Texas City High School serving 9th through 12th graders since 2003. She taught elementary school for two years working with an Adaptive Behavior Program for one year, before becoming a counselor. In addition, she has been conducting anger management groups at the high school for the last 3 years. She also contracts with Innovative Alternatives, Inc. as a staff therapist. She provides individual, marriage, and family therapy. Her clinical interests include abuse and trauma, depression and anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, relationship issues. She enjoys working with all populations and uses a variety of techniques. She has experience with substance abuse clients when working as a parole officer for 2 years. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Houston, central campus and holds a Master of Science degree from University of Houston, Clearlake.
