John Barnett is the Vice President at Innovative Alternatives, Inc. In addition to assisting in the oversight and management of the IAI, He also supervises the administration of the Violence Prevention for Schools, Victim-Offender Mediation and the Employability Training Programs. John is a Credentialed Advanced Mediator and conducts professional mediations and facilitates 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training for new mediators. John also contracts with the agency as a psychotherapist providing individual and family therapy, as well as ongoing adult and adolescent anger management groups. John completed his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 1997 and has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2000. He received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Southwest Texas State University in 1990 and has worked in the mental health field for approximately twenty years.
