Contract Therapist

 
Lee Cox is a Licensed Professional Counselor and contract therapist with Innovative Alternatives, Inc. Dr. Cox received her Ph.D. from the University of Houston in Educational Psychology. She also has a Masters degree in Counseling and School Administration. She currently teaches in the Master of Science in counseling program at the University of Houston Clear Lake and provides therapeutic services for IAI on a contract basis. Her 31 years in public education allows Dr. Cox to provide knowledgeable counseling to families and children in learning and school related issues. Other clinical specialties include group counseling, grief and loss counseling, depression and relationship issues. Her theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral. Dr. Cox is also a certified mediator. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Texas Counseling Association, the American School Counselor Association, and Association of Specialists in Group Work.
