Contract Therapist

 
Vivian is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and a Contract Therapist with Innovative Alternatives Inc. She holds a Master’s Degree in Science in Counseling from the University of Phoenix-Southern Arizona Campus and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras Campus. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.

Vivian has experience facilitating art classes and bilingual psycho-educational groups to process abuse and reinforce identity and self-esteem. She has helped clients to deal with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, abuse, adjustment disorder, relationship and immigration issues. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with children, adolescent, adults and elders from all ethnical backgrounds in individual, couples, family or group settings. Her treatment modalities include Systemic Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered and psycho-educational approach.
