Workplace Mediation
We apply the mediation process to develop a positive work culture that employees will enforce with peers. We have developed our own model of Multicultural Mediation as an experiential form of diversity training, where every participant is both teacher and student. Naturally, we mediate Personnel Grievance Disputes between employees or supervisors and employees. IAI has extensive experience in Multiparty Mediation of workgroups, teams, inter- and intra-departmental conflicts. We have mediated departments of 65 people who were on round the clock shifts that had been in conflict for 8+ years, had run off 6 directors due to the informal power of the employees and within a matter of weeks, had developed a positive team culture enforced by fellow employees. We've settled disputes between departments that had existed for 3 years in only 2 days!
